About Career Development Center (CDC)
The Career Development Centre at the SVREC supports the students in shaping and managing their careers by building key ingredients required for a student to be a complete professional . The Centre will focus on building life skills or employability skills through various training programs and an extensive industry connect program ensuring an all-round development. These skills not only improve the chances of placements for students/ graduates but also help in developing professional attributes for continuing and growing in the job. These are the skills, attitudes and actions that enable professionals to get along with their fellow workers, reporting managers/ supervisors and to take informed decisions at crucial times.
The Training and Placement Cell is presided by Mr. Rakesh Babu, a well-experienced and proficient placement Officer with 8+ years of experience in campus recruitment and Placements as well as IT industry experience with well renowned MNC.

- Experienced in translating the client requirement in to technical specifications.
- Ability to work as an individual and in teams.
- Excellent in problem solving skills, logical and analytical abilities.
- Possesses good communication skills and technical skills.
- Good experience in Interaction with clients.
- Received certification in oracle-9i OCA from ORACLE
Apart from a full-time Addl. Training and Placement Officer, a committee, with one faculty member and one student member from each department, helps the cell function effectively by coordinating its activities. The cell is fully equipped to churn out industry ready candidates and is actively liaisoning with industries of repute and keeps the students informed of various job opportunities.
